Applications for Pupillage and Mini-pupillage

Our chambers place great emphasis on high-quality legal training, which is crucial for a career as a barrister. Many of our members have previously completed their pupillage here. As our members practice in almost all areas of law, pupils in our chambers can expect to benefit from a wide range of training. Many university and secondary school students have applied to our chambers for short-term Pupillage.

Pupillage

Applicants for pupillage should write to individual members or the Chambers Management Committee, enclosing their CV. Successful applicants should demonstrate their ability to complete a pupillage period of at least 3 months. Those interested in learning more about the details may refer to the relevant guidelines issued by the Hong Kong Bar Association. Those who complete more than 3 months of pupillage will be given priority consideration when applying to become a member.

Mini-pupillage

Applications for mini-pupillage should write to individual members or the Chambers Management Committee. When applying to the Management Committee, the Committee will promptly decide on the assignment based on the applicant’s individual circumstances. Applications should include a CV as mentioned above. We will notify applicants of interviews and results via email or phone. All applications need to be approved by the Management Committee.
